This was a pretty small update. I lacked motivation today, sorry y'all :(
Made certain menus locked until later progression
Gave clicking more purpose in the late gameĀ
New skill tree upgrade: Manual Labor I, II, and III
Bug Fix: Overlapping Auto Worker with loading
Bug Fix: Wood to Paper Upgrade Would Take $10,000 and 100,000 Paper (NOT THE PRICE LOL)
I added three new upgrades to the skill tree, WOOHOO! These just make clicking later game viable as a way to get paper and money. I felt like paper and money were mostly autoclicked later game, and with the new upgrades, it's still insanely helpful. Manual Labor I gives you 20% of your automatically gained cash (including workers and upgrade menu buys) per click, II gives you 50%, and III gives you 100%.
I decided I didn't want to immediately overwhelm players with all the menus available, so I made the player unlock them while progressing. This won't break old saves that have progress on skill trees or upgrades! These are just locked until you have a certain amount; all changes you made will be kept, and if you go below the value that unlocks the upgrade again, it won't relock the menu. This adds a nice tad of progression too, feels refreshing.
You know how I said I made a one-liner fix in my last update log? I didn't, I should've made a two-liner fix. Basically, when the game starts, I made it so the auto worker starts off the bat, but then, when the player buys more workers, it'd have two workers going at the same time. This was just super buggy. I changed it so the player can't start more autoWorker functions once one is already bought.
Ahh!! Scary price difference!
I'm going to add more upgrades to the upgrade menu; this is ONLY the beginning. I now have the frame to make dozens more upgrades! I also plan on adding a rebirth system, but I don't know when I'll add it, that will probably be after the next update or two.
