This is a HUGE update, considering my abandonment of this game for a few months! Below are the changes made, with A LOT more planned.
This was a great one to FINALLY add in. You may be wondering why it took so long for me to add this.... My answer to that is a little bit confusing to explain. Basically, I have been adding 9/5 simulator as an embed in my website, essentially a small box of the game. The problem with this isn't the saving part, it's the embed ditching the code. When you embed something on Google Sites, which this website is hosted on, it creates a temporary link that hosts the game or whatever it is. The bad thing about this is that the link is in a constant state of flux, meaning that when the game saves it's data to your browser in association with the link, it's saved, but when you open a new tab, it's a different embed, therefore no more save codes. Sorry for the yap. To sum it all up, you won't lose your progress anymore if you accidentally close the tab or refresh.
Just the last one, but I also added three save slots to the game so you can manage multiple sessions!
I thought the workers needed some extra charm, so I made them faster with a cheap upgrade.
GIANT update coming soon. I'm adding an upgrade tab, where you can buy even more efficient workers made for specific things. This upgrade menu will incorporate skill points, money, and paper as currencies, and I may add something else, too. The upgrade menu will also have multipliers. This may seem small, but I'm planning on adding fourteen new upgrades with this menu for the first update. Also, this update marks a change in the way this game will be hosted. From now on, the game will be under a new tab labeled "V1.55+ w/Local Storage". I did this because I didn't want to get rid of the old version completely, because I think it holds a place in my heart for the first polished thing I've made with code. You can also view the source code on the link nested under that tab, all 1900 lines written by me!
